On May 8th, the opening ceremony of Jiangsu Beidou+5G Testing Laboratory was held in Nantong Innovation Zone. The testing laboratory of Jiangsu Beidou Xinchuang Technology Development Co., Ltd., guided by the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association and jointly established by Nantong Innovation Zone, has officially entered the trial operation stage.

President Yu Xiancheng pointed out in his speech that the opening and operation of the "Jiangsu Beidou+5G Testing Laboratory" marks another important step in the deep integration of Beidou and 5G technology. The construction of the Beidou+5G testing laboratory is not only an important exploration in the field of satellite navigation, positioning, and communication in China, but also a pioneering achievement in technological innovation and industrial development.

During the event, the attendees were introduced in detail through video to the development process of Jiangsu Beidou Xinchuang Technology Development Co., Ltd., and invited Chairman Yu Xiancheng, Deputy Secretary Chen Yonghong, Director Wei Baoguo, and Director Wu Bingbing to jointly open the laboratory!

The awarding ceremony of the "Beidou Science Popularization Base" was held during the event. President Yu Xiancheng personally awarded the plaque to He Jing, General Manager of Jiangsu Beidou Xinchuang Technology Development Co., Ltd., and expressed high hopes and confidence in the promotion of Beidou in the local area.

The Beidou Comprehensive Space Time Innovation Application Demonstration Base and the Beidou+5G Industry University Research Base were successfully unveiled in this event. Chief scientist of CETC, Wei Baoguo, director of the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Navigation System and Equipment Technology, professor Wang Bo, doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Technology, and He Jing, general manager of Jiangsu Beidou Xinchuang Technology Development Co., Ltd. unveiled the two bases respectively. I believe that under the guidance and leadership of two experts and scholars, the innovative application of Beidou+will surely achieve greater breakthroughs.

At the end of the event, President Yu led a team to visit the overall construction of the laboratory, expressing high praise for the laboratory's construction, and also expressing affirmation to the Nantong government and all members of Jiangsu Beidou Information and Innovation Company.
